Humaira Asghar Case: Forensic Report Question Death Cause
Humaira Asghar, a former actress, model, and painter who began her career in Lahore’s fashion scene, was found dead in her Karachi apartment under tragic and mysterious circumstances. Her body was severely decomposed, and shockingly, the world didn’t learn about her death until nine months later. When the news finally broke, it became a national headline, raising serious questions and placing everyone connected to her under intense scrutiny.
Police launched an investigation and began collecting forensic evidence from the scene. But now, strange new details have emerged—details that are only adding to the growing mystery.
While speaking to a private news channel, reporter Aamir Majeed revealed a peculiar discovery from Humaira’s apartment: five mud bowls placed around her body. Each of them contained a white powdery substance, which was sent to a lab for testing. The results are in—and they’ve only made things more puzzling.
The powder has been identified as sea salt. Majeed explained that sea salt has historically been used to dry out animal skin and to eliminate odors. Investigators now suspect that the salt was deliberately placed around Humaira’s body to mask the smell of decomposition.
This revelation has cast even more doubt and confusion over Humaira Asghar’s death, leaving many wondering what happened in that apartment.

Alizeh Shah Files Rs1 Billion Defamation Case Against Minsa Malik
Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has served a defamation notice to fellow actor Minsa Malik. The notice, made public via Shah’s Instagram, accuses Malik of launching a malicious campaign to tarnish her image professionally and personally.
Shah alleges that Minsa Malik engaged in defamatory behavior, including verbal insults and even physical assault, specifically admitting to slapping Shah. The notice highlight that such acts are not just morally degrading but are also actionable offenses under Pakistan’s civil and criminal defamation laws.
It further states that Minsa circulated a withdrawn complaint in a targeted attempt to mislead the public and harm Shah’s standing in the entertainment fraternity. Shah, known for her award-winning performances and widespread acclaim, has drawn a hard line: protect her dignity or face legal fire.
With her legal team demanding a public apology within 48 hours and a full cease-and-desist on defamatory behavior, Alizeh Shah isn’t pulling any punches. If Malik fails to comply, the actress is prepared to file criminal charges under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 and pursue a civil suit demanding Rs1 billion in damages.

Rida Bilal Disowns ‘Behroopia’ Script
Renowned playwright Rida Bilal has openly rejected the televised version of her drama Behroopia, stating that it bears little resemblance to the script she originally wrote.
Speaking to the media, Rida raised serious concerns about the unauthorized alterations made to her work. “Nothing in the drama Behroopia reflects what I wrote—from the characters to their tones and even their dressing,” she said.
She explained that the production team made such drastic changes that the final version no longer feels like her creation. “There’s an entire sequence in the drama that replicates the Noor Mukaddam incident, and I never wrote that,” she clarified. “They even removed my name from the project’s credits, which honestly, I’m relieved about.”
The scene in question reminded viewers of the 2021 Noor Mukaddam case, a brutal murder that shook Pakistan. On July 20, 2021, Noor, the 27-year-old daughter of a former diplomat, was held hostage, tortured, raped, and ultimately beheaded in Islamabad’s Sector F-7/4. Zahir Jaffer, the accused, confessed to planning her murder after Noor refused his marriage proposal. Investigations also exposed the complicity of his household staff and parents, who attempted to obstruct justice.
In February 2022, a court sentenced Zahir Jaffer to death. The Islamabad High Court upheld the sentence in 2024, and in May 2025, the Supreme Court confirmed the verdict. His execution is pending final orders, despite appeals for a presidential pardon.
Rida Bilal’s statement quickly went viral, sparking a wave of support online. Social media users praised her integrity and criticized the industry’s treatment of writers.
One user commented, “The topic was great, but dragging tarnished the plot.” Another added, “How difficult must it be to watch your own work distorted to the point that you no longer want to be associated with it?”
Many fans blamed production houses for sidelining writers. “No wonder PTV scripts are suffering. Directors and producers hijack the creative vision,” a viewer noted.
Others admitted they had already stopped watching the show. “It didn’t make sense—it felt like a total khichri of random events.”
Supporters praised Rida for her earlier acclaimed works like Khudgarz and Aik Jhooti Love Story, and called for better treatment of writers in the entertainment industry. “She deserves to work with producers who respect her craft. Writers aren’t disposable,” a fan wrote.
