Is Aima Baig Leaving the Country?
Aima Baig recently surprised her fan base by posting a series of stories on her Instagram account, hinting at her departure from Pakistan.
Her fans were left worried and confused, believing she was leaving the country for good. However, Aima has now clarified that the speculation is not true.
Who is Aima Baig?
Aima Noor-ul Ain Baig is a Pakistani singer known for her appearances on Dunya News’ program Mazaaq Raat from 2015 to 2017. She gained fame with her songs in “Lahore Se Aagey” (2016), which led to her popularity through various other soundtracks and her appearance on Coke Studio. In August 2019, she was awarded the Tamgha-e-Fakhre-Imtiaz. Baig was raised in Oman. Her father is an electrical engineer, and she has two sisters and two brothers, being the fourth child. Her sister, Komal Baig, serves as her manager. In 2017, Aima’s mother passed away after a six-year battle with cancer. Following this loss, Aima dedicated her life to supporting cancer patients and actively works with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre for charity.

Baig earned her Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television from the School of Creative Arts, University of Lahore. TV anchor Mubashir Lucman, who is a friend of her father’s, sang a cover of “Summer Wine” with her, and she has written the script for his upcoming film.
On 21 March 2021, she announced her engagement to Shahbaz Shigri; they had been dating since meeting during the filming of Parey Hut Love. In September 2022, she confirmed their breakup on Instagram.
In 2022, Baig revealed that she has 19 tattoos. In 2023, she disclosed that she is no longer able to move her right-hand middle finger due to arthritis.
