KILL DIL – Ali Zafar’s Best Performance Till Date

Ali Zafar never fails to surprise. This time too he has taken the game a notch higher by shedding off his chocolate hero image and holding a gun in his hand with a rough and sturdy avatar to share screen space with Ranveer Singh and Parieeti Chopra in KILL DIL.
Kill Dil is a story of two assassins, Dev (Singh) and Tutu (Zafar), who are on a killing spree under the able guidance of their guru Bhaiyyaji (Govinda) and what happens when they meet the free-spirited Disha (Chopra). What follows is a game of defiance, deception and love.
The rustic rural looking Ali Zafar has not just impressed his fans but also his co-star In this film. According to Ranveer “Ali’s presence, his voice, emotions, humour, delivery, look and even his dancing have all come together to make a distinct character who is engaging, endearing and above all, entertaining. Shaad and Adi sir (Aditya Chopra) are mighty impressed by Ali’s performance. According to me, this is by far Ali’s best performance ever because no other director has explored this dimension of Ali’s personality. Ali has created an indelible contribution to the film and his performance will certainly be one of the highlights.”
Amitabh Bacchan is also looking forward to the film release and tweeted his praises for the film. From the looks of it, Shad Ali is to deliver a blockbuster again. This masala entertainer full of ‘killer’ scenes and bike stunts will definitely change Ali Zafar’ good-boy image.

Filmmaker Nadeem Baig directed the movie, while Wasay Chaudhry—known for Jawani Phir Nahi Ani—wrote the script. Set in London, the story follows Mahira Khan’s character Sofia Khan, a bold Pashtun architect living in the U.S., and Humayun Saeed, who plays the charming flirt dubbed “Love Guru.” His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Sofia.
Alongside its leads, the film features performances by Momina Iqbal, Mira Sethi, Sohai Ali Abro, Amara Malik, Adnan Shah Tipu, Marina Khan, Usman Peerzada, and Javed Sheikh. A surprise cameo by another major Pakistani actor has also thrilled fans.
Producers Humayun Saeed, Shehzad Nasib, and Jerjees Seja—backed by Salman Iqbal as executive producer—brought the film to life under the ARY Films banner. They combined Punjabi and Pashto humor to appeal to a broad audience base.
According to the producers, Love Guru made Rs 29 crore at the Pakistani box office and another Rs 26 crore overseas, totaling Rs 55 crore. Many see this success as a hopeful sign for the revival of Lollywood, which has faced tough times in recent years.
Although the film still falls short of The Legend of Maula Jatt, which grossed over Rs 4 billion globally, Love Guru proves that star power, compelling storytelling, and strong production values can still draw crowds to cinemas.

I also apologized for it. However, what made me most proud was her attitude that she supported the other party. I am her father, but I am also a human being who commits mistakes. Although, I don’t believe in spreading lies, I always spoke truth but now I understand that not every truth should be shared on TV.”

At that time, we used to have a very contained environment like our drawing room. Nowadays, there is a fact checking on internet, so we have to be careful while speaking, as things stay on the internet forever. You shouldn’t say anything that could have a negative impact online.”
