Adnan Siddiqui apologizes to Sarfaraz Ahmad

The Twitterati might get some rest now as Adnan Siddiqui has apologized to Sarfaraz Ahmad.
The actor was seen mocking Ahmad in Jeeto Pakisan. Siddiqui made fun of Ahmad’s speech struggle but the Twitterati went berserk from the moment when the incident happened.
Siddiqui took to Instagram to clear everything related to the incident.
“So I don’t know how to explain what I’m feeling right now or what to say. But this need to go out. I was invited on a show when this unfortunate incident happened,” he wrote.
“The actor Adnan Siddiqui – as in me – joked about something extremely sensitive related to Sarfaraz Ahmed. Not only is Sarfaraz Ahmed close to me, and to many of his fans, but also as a human it was wrong on so many levels. I cannot even call it ‘hitting below the belt’” he added.
“It was an extremely callous act to joke about the speech. This is in very bad taste, not only does it show him and me but also the entire country in a bad light.”
Siddiqui, however, maintained that while he didn’t react at the time, his own body language during the episode made his stance clear.
“If you see my body language I was extremely uncomfortable with what I did and that I had stooped to such level,” he said. “I’ve learned a lesson and I promise I will not tolerate such acts of mine in future.
Previously, the Twitterati came out in support of Adnan Siddiqui when Amir Liaquat made fun of his co-stars who passed away recently.

Firdous Jamal’s Controversial Statement On Music & Islam

Firdous Jamal is a senior Pakistani television and film actor known for his dramas like Pyare Afzal, Khuda Aur Mohabbat, Waris, Manchalay Ka Sauda, Dehleez, Dhoop Deewar, Takmeel, Kaanch Kay Par, Anna, Nashaib and many others. Firdous Jamal currently lives in Lahore and he often appears in the podcasts and interviews.
Recently, he gave interview to Rehan Tariq Official. In the interview he shared his thoughts about music and its similarly with Naatia Kalams and Tilawat.
Talking about it, Firdous Jamal said, “We face criticism if we sing the songs, but music is the language of Skies. Music will be played in Jannah, it will be played to sooth us”.
He further added, “We are a rigid society, we use certain objectionable words for the singers. We listen to music with passion but If someone amongst us becomes a singer, we start hating that person and think of him less dignified. This is hypocrisy but this is in our society and we have to live in our society. Now, the Naat Khuwans and Moazans are doing the same thing, they sing in a melody or in a tune without the instruments. Anything that has a melody, it comes under the category of Raag, they are using the Sur in recitations. Qirat & Naat comes under Raag Bhervi or Thaath Bhervi. People won’t like it if Moazans will simply recite Tilawat in a normal way. People love it because of the melody. Now people will bash me that he has gone mad, he is associating Naat and Azan with music. It is a taboo to talk about music in our region. We have associated certain words with this profession. If I say Maulvi recites in a certain melody, people will call me out but it is so.”
