Adnan Siddiqui pens a Dua for the souls that we lost in Quarantine Period

Adnan Rahat

Adnan Siddiqui is one of the most versatile actors Pakistan has ever seen. He has proved his skills and worth in both dramas and movies, and his talent is not only bound to Lollywood but Bollywood as well as Lollywood.

He is the multi-talented but a little shy to showcase his other talents on mainstream media. He can play flute, he is the director and he also writes. An artist is the most sensitive creature on earth and the things we are going through at the moment has been very cruel towards humans as well as nature.

Siddiqui is going through a lot from last couple of months as we lost few gems of our country and also from our neighbors including Irrfan Khan who happened to be a very dear friend of Siddqui.

Taking his poetry to another extent, Siddqui wrote a dua for the ones that departed in the last couple of months and icing on the cake was that it is sung by none other than Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

I had tears in my eyes while writing this because it wasn’t just something I was going through, it was the whole world,” He said,

Adding, “We first lost Irrfan Khan, he was my friend and I grew quite fond of him during our time together.

“We first lost Irrfan Khan, he was my friend and I grew quite fond of him during our time together.

“Following this when Athar Shah Khan sahab passed away and so did Tariq Aziz, I felt as though my childhood was being snatched away from me,”

He also indicated that he might start composing music and he also went on the thank Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for coming all the way to Karachi from Lahore.

“I think I could be good at that. But for now, I just want the world to listen to this prayer I wrote in Rahat sahab’s voice. He came all the way from Lahore to Karachi to work on this with me.”

Pakistani Celebrities Make a Quiet Comeback on Indian Screens as Digital Ban Eases

The digital bridges between India and Pakistan appear to be cautiously rebuilding. Pakistani actors’ Instagram accounts and YouTube channels are slowly being restored in India, offering a glimmer of cultural exchange after months of silence.

Following the unfortunate Pahalgam terror attack in April 2025, the Indian government imposed a sweeping digital blackout on Pakistani celebrities. Instagram accounts of major stars like Yumna Zaidi, Ahad Raza Mir, and Danish Taimoor vanished overnight from Indian screens. The move, backed by political and entertainment stakeholders, also led to the abrupt cancellation of film collaborations and advertising campaigns involving Pakistani talent.

But now, as tensions cool and public sentiment evolves, things are starting to change.

Instagram users in India have begun noticing the quiet reappearance of some of their favourite Pakistani stars. Yumna Zaidi, known for her powerful performances, is once again lighting up feeds. Ahad Raza Mir and Danish Taimoor, too, have returned to the digital spotlight, prompting excitement among Indian fans who had missed their content dearly.

Yet, it’s not a full reunion—major names like Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan, and Fawad Khan remain digitally inaccessible, and their absence continues to frustrate fans on both sides of the border.

Meanwhile, the revival isn’t limited to social media alone; popular YouTube channels broadcasting Pakistani drama serials—a beloved genre in India—have also been unblocked. It shows that once-dominated Indian watchlists are back, bringing with them nostalgia, emotion, and cross-border connection.

While the reappearance of some accounts signals softening restrictions, the digital curtain hasn’t lifted entirely. Still, for fans, it’s a step toward rekindling the shared love for art that transcends politics and borders.

Javed Miandad’s Iconic Six Ruined His Wedding Day – Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan

Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, recently shared nostalgic memories of his youth, revealing how Javed Miandad’s iconic six during his first wedding day turned his joy into disappointment.

Aamir said he and Reena decided to secretly get married when he was 21 years old upon resistance from their families. He further shared that when they returned home after their secret wedding, a Pakistan-India cricket match was happening.

Both their families were engrossed in the match, so no one noticed their absence. The actor noted that this was the famous match in Sharjah where Javed Miandad hit a six on the last ball, leading to India’s defeat. Aamir said that since India was winning the match, he was thrilled, thinking his wedding day would be marked by India’s victory.

However, his happiness turned to disappointment when Javed Miandad hit the six on the final ball, causing India to lose. Aamir shared that he was deeply upset afterward and even mentioned this to Javed Miandad during a meeting.

He jokingly told him, “Javed Bhai, you didn’t do right to me!” Miandad, surprised, asked what he meant, Aamir replied, “You ruined my wedding because you hit that six on the last ball and I was terribly disappointed.”

For context, this match was played on April 10, 1986, in Sharjah, where Pakistan faced India. In the final over, Pakistan needed 10 runs off four balls and on the last ball, with four runs required, Javed Miandad hit a spectacular six off Chetan Sharma’s delivery, not only winning the match but also creating one of cricket’s most iconic moments.

India Eases Ban on Some Pakistani YouTubers, Artists

India

India has lifted its ban on several Pakistani YouTube channels and social media accounts, allowing Indian audiences to access Pakistani content once again.

Following the Pahalgam incident in illegally Indian-occupied Kashmir, Indian authorities had restricted popular Pakistani platforms and blocked films featuring stars like Fawad Khan and Hania Aamir. Although Hania’s film saw global success, it remained banned in India.

Now that India has quietly removed the ban, many Indian fans have shared their excitement online. One user wrote, “Diljit Dosanjh took the first step, and now everyone’s following.” Another added, “Glad the ban is gone—Pakistani industry should keep raising the bar.”

While viewership of Pakistani dramas had dipped, shows like Mun Mast Malang, Sher, Dayan, and Parwarish still managed to pull in Indian fans. Danish Taimoor’s supporters were especially excited, with one fan commenting, “Now Sher will roar even louder.”

Indian users were surprised to see posts from Pakistani celebrities reappearing in their feeds, suggesting that India unblocked some social media accounts without issuing an official statement.

Stars like Danish Taimoor, Ahad Raza Mir, Mawra Hocane, and Yumna Zaidi have had their accounts restored. However, others—such as Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Wahaj Ali, Iqra Aziz, Farhan Saeed, and Hania Aamir—remain inaccessible to Indian viewers.
